Mitch started as an agent soon after graduating college. He knew that he wanted a career in real estate and found that the Coldwell Banker® brand offered more than any office in his area. The ongoing support he receives has helped him build a successful career in real estate, all the while giving him the time to be active in the community, and spend time with his family.

I'm Mitch Dietz and this is my Coldwell Banker® success story.

I graduated college with a degree in Finance and Economics and thought I’d become a mortgage broker. But my interest in real estate led me down a different path. I started interviewing with a few offices in town, but when I met with the office manager here, I knew that I wanted to be a part of Coldwell Banker. I was blown away by the training programs, marketing materials, sense of values, and goals that were in place and I knew I wanted to be a part of it.

A Network of Support

One of the biggest reasons I love being a Coldwell Banker agent is the combination of national educational opportunities and programs available and local support at my office. I’ve been able to learn so much from the corporate sponsored webinars and classes. I participated in the Rookie Club when I first started, which awarded points as I learned to manage my time, set goals, put myself out there as an agent and become successful. The Coldwell Banker LeadRouter system has also been a huge help in securing clients.

From a local side, my office provides a wealth of marketing and presentation materials that gives agents the professional edge when meeting with clients. We have weekly meetings where we discuss new ways to grow our business and the latest changes in laws and required forms. Because of this continued growth, we can become the most educated agents in our area.


Mentorship Opportunities

When I became an agent affiliated with Coldwell Banker Evergreen Olympic Realty, I was given a mentor to help me learn the business of real estate quickly. Whatever question I had, she was ready to share how she manages the same obstacle. .

I’ve built a great relationship with our office manager as well. He has an open door policy and always makes time to meet, or talk about things I should consider that might continue building my business.

Now that I’ve been affiliated with Coldwell Banker Evergreen Olympic Realty for a few years, I have begun helping other agents. Sometimes I even help answer questions about technology or processes for my office manager and mentor – how great is that?


Building Your Business

When I meet with clients to show them a house, I typically turn on the lights and step back to let them explore. This approach makes people feel relaxed and ready to talk about their thoughts on the home. When we talk, I try to find common ground in our lives and tell stories about my experiences. This helps us grow closer and I’ve developed friendships that go beyond the agent-client experience.

To be a great real estate agent, you need to work hard and be dedicated to your own success. That means committing to education, and staying current in this industry.
